Famous New Media Artist

Watch Video

Since the early noughties Bailey has ploughed a compelling, and often hilarious, road through the various developments of digital communications technologies.

Morgan Quaintance, Rhizome

Jeremy Bailey's features evoke a shy, blessed child with eyes wide open to the wonders of contemporary digital world.

Lenka Morávková, Digicult.it

Always enthusiastic, often awkward, sometimes topless, Jeremy Bailey’s video persona gives a playful and eccentric drubbing to the tech industry.

Nell Frizzell, The Guardian

His work is often confidently self-deprecating in offering
hilarious parodies of new media vocabularies.

Invigilation that Transcends Boundaries

Telepresence combined with a host human body, allows anyone to be anywhere at once. MSIS is an innovative system for augmented identity and distributed presence that allowed me to invigilate the entirety of AND Festival 2012 across two cities (and beyond) from the safety of a protected control cockpit in Manchester.

Commissioned by FACT, Liverpool and supported by Canada Council for the Arts.
